EVERY TUESDAY - HALO 3
By popular demand, every Tournament Tuesday is Halo 3! We run Halo 3: Free For All and 2 vs. 2 Team Matches. We can even host 4 vs. 4 Team Matches, if enough players express interest. If you don't have enough teammates, sign up anyway and we will help you find other teamless players to make a whole team. Our default format is: Free-For-All AND 2 vs. 2: DEFAULT WEAPONS, Radar is ON, 15 minute time limit. FFA is double-elimination and each team match will be best 2 out of 3. FFA games will be 8 players, random maps, first to 25. Teams will alternate the first 2 games as "home" and the "away" team. The "home" team chooses the map and game type and the "away" team chooses colors. If the first 2 games result in a tie, the 3rd match will be chosen by the Virtual Arena. Matches will all be system-link.
"LET'S DO THIS" CALL OF DUTY TOURNAMENT SUNDAY NOVEMBER 8TH
To prepare for the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, we will host a special Call of Duty Tournament, sponsored by Game Crazy! If you thought winning a copy of ODST was a great prize from our Halo Tournament, wait until you see the prizes he have in store for this Call of Duty Tournament: The Grand Prize is a Modern Warfare 2 Special Edition Xbox 360! First Prize is the Prestige Edition of Modern Warfare 2, AND we will give standard edition copies of Modern Warfare 2 for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Prize winners! (Prizes subject to change based on the number of participants.)
The Tournament will be FFA, double elimination, default settings. Games will be played via system-link, so no custom classes will be available. Players will cycle through eight player matches, advancing to winner brackets if they place in the top four. Being placed in the bottom four will advance players to loser brackets, and players will be eliminated after placing in the bottom four twice (double elimination). After the first two rounds, remaining players will advance to the third round. The third round, semi-finals, and finals will be single elimintation. The tournament starts Sunday, November 8th at 1PM and will decide the finalists that will compete at Game Crazy on Monday at 9PM.
