The Virtual Arena has changed many times since it opened in August, 2005. When it opened, there were only 4 Xboxes on large 11' projection screens, 4 PCs, 2 PS2s and 2 GameCubes. Now, Arena Gamers have more choices than ever with TWO locations to choose from! Our original location at 1301 Vandiver Dr allows more people to play at the same time than ever: 16 Xbox 360s, 4 PS3s, and 4 PCs. That's 24 stations! Ten more Xbox 360s are available at our SECOND location inside Game City at 3101 W Broadway!
We have over 50 games to choose from! We have a wide variety of games from action and adventure to role playing, sports, racing, and the popular first-person-shooter. All of this is available, but like our name suggests, we like to emphasize the multi-player experience. All of the Xbox 360s are system-linked together and each one has a unique Xbox Live account. The PS3s are also system-linked together and can play games online on the PlayStation Network. The Virtual Arena is prepared for multi-player matches or tournaments with the most popular titles like Modern Warfare 2, Gears of War 2, Halo 3, and Left 4 Dead 2!

2010 is starting with a bang! Many first rate games were scheduled to come out for the holiday season last year, but got pushed back to this year. When you come to the Arena and want to play something other than Call of Duty, rest assured that we have only the best games available. The first game to arrive is the new action/adventure/RPG DARKSIDERS! We have a number of games set in post-apocalyptic setting, but none of them star THE character responsible: WAR, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse! When someone summons you to start THE final war between Heaven and Hell prematurely, the world gets destroyed and everyone blames you. Regain your awesome powers, find out who screwed you over, and get revenge! Following Darksiders is the sequel to the award winning RPG Mass Effect, MASS EFFECT 2! Due to popular demand, we've also added FOUR copies of the HUGE PS3 title MAG! Choose your allegience to one of three private armies and compete online with up to 256 players!
In the meantime, we have 16 COPIES of Modern Warfare 2, voted by many to be the best shooting game of 2009. But, if you're looking for the best GAME of 2009, look no further than the Playstation 3 exclusive: UNCHARTED 2: AMONG THIEVES! Gorgeous graphics, a gripping story, and believable actors may make for a thrilling action adventure game, but the best controls for a third person shooter that I've ever played also make it one of the best shooting games. So, in addition to the awesome story, Uncharted 2 also has three different 3-player-co-op modes and a list of customizable 10-player-versus modes! If you're looking for an RPG that happens to play like a FPS, play BORDERLANDS! Imagine a game like Fallout 3, with a post-apocalyptic landscape covered with dangerous mutants, monsters, and other enemies. Now add vehicles, RPG elements like classes, leveling, skills, and loot drops, and a random weapon generator. Then add the ability to play it with another person via split-screen, or up to 4 people via system-link or online! We also have multiple copies of the highly anticipated sequels Assassin's Creed 2, Left for Dead 2, and HALO 3 ODST! In addition to our regular hours, the Virtual Arena is open ALL NIGHT every Friday night for the lucky gamers that sign up for our special Lock-Ins. The Arena will also open early - by special arrangement - for birthdays or other private parties.
