The Virtual Arena has changed many times since it opened in August, 2005. When it opened, there were only 4 Xboxes on large 11' projection screens, 4 PCs, 2 PS2s and 2 GameCubes. Now, Arena Gamers have more choices than ever: 18 Xbox 360s, 4 PS3s, 3 PCs and a Nintendo Wii. That's 26 stations!
We have over 70 games to choose from! We have a wide variety of games from action and adventure to role playing, sports, racing, and the popular first-person-shooter. All of this is available, but like our name suggests, we like to emphasize the multi-player experience. All of the Xbox 360s are system-linked together and each one has a unique Xbox Live account. The PS3s are also system-linked together and can play games online on the PlayStation Network. The Virtual Arena is prepared for multi-player matches or tournaments with the most popular titles like Modern Warfare 2, Gears of War 2, Halo 3, and Left 4 Dead 2!

THE Wii IS BACK!
By popular demand, the Wii has returned, along with an updated library of games. METROID: OTHER M stars everyone's favorite inter-galactic bounty hunter in a gripping adventure that's sure to please die-hard fans of the Metroid games and people meeting Samus for the first time. "The tale of Samus can now be told!" NEW SUPER MARIO BROS.Wii is classic Super Mario Bros. updated with more levels, better visuals, and up to FOUR PLAYER co-operative/competitive play! When you come to the Arena and want to play something other than Call of Duty, rest assured that we have only the best games available. Summer is almost over, so bring on the fall blockbusters! Nothing says "fall season" like the annual relase of EA Sports' Madden NFL. That's right, MADDEN '11 is here! Play in new 1-4 player co-op modes or 6 player versus modes online! One of our summer hits was featured in a showcase: TRANSFORMERS: WAR FOR CYBERTRON! Join the Autobots or the Decepticons in epic battles on the Transformers' homeworld of Cybertron. Create your own Transformer and play the campaign mode alone or with up to three players co-operatively, or join 5 vs 5 battles online! We are running a SECOND showcase this month: BLACKLIGHT: TANGO DOWN is a near-future 16-player FPS with nearly infinite combinations of customizable gear.
NEW PS3 GAMES!
MOD NATION RACERS lets you play with up to 4-players split-screen or 12 players online! Like Little Big Planet, you can also make your own racers, drivers, and race tracks! Due to popular demand, we've also added FOUR copies of the HUGE PS3 title MAG! Choose your allegience to one of three private armies and compete online with up to 256 players! Another EXCLUSIVE PS3 has arrived: HEAVY RAIN! Take control of one of several different characters all investigating the mysterious "Oragami" serial killer before he claims another victim in a revolutionary, genre-defying, action/adventure murder mystery game. This one is NOT recommended for children! Also not recommended for children, but destined to be a HUGE hit, the final installment of the God of War games is finally here: GOD OF WAR 3! Many thanks to all the Virtual Arena Gamers out there that have stuck with us over the years, and many more thanks to all the new Gamers! The economy may be bad right now, but we're still offering a fun, safe, and energetic place to hang out with friends and play video games! We appreciate everyone bearing with us through these changes. We've already replaced twelve of the 19" screens with 28" 1080p FULL HD screens, and more are on the way! More importantly, our hourly rates are STILL ONLY $3 an hour! Bring in a friend and take advantage of the NEW BUDDY PASS: 2 people for 2 hours for only $10!
In addition to our regular hours, the Virtual Arena is open ALL NIGHT every Friday night for the lucky gamers that sign up for our special Lock-Ins. The Arena will also open early - by special arrangement - for birthdays or other private parties.
