Welcome to the newest console and computer gaming center!
Instead of plunking
quarters into an arcade machine or taking turns on the family TV or PC at home, come to the Virtual Arena! Play your favorite
video games in front of your own individual screen! Play by yourself, go head-to-head on our Local Area Network, or challenge
gamers online! The Virtual Arena has changed
many times since it opened in August, 2005. When it opened, there were only 4 Xboxes on large 11' projection screens,
4 PCs, 2 PS2s and 2 GameCubes. Now, Arena Gamers have more choices than ever with TWO locations to choose from! Our original
location at 1301 Vandiver DR allows more people to play at the same time than ever: 16 Xbox 360s, 2 PS3s,
1 Wii, and 8 PCs. That's 27 stations! Ten more Xbox 360s are available at our SECOND location inside Game
City at 3101 W Broadway!
We have over 50 games to choose from! We have a wide
variety of games from action and adventure to role playing, sports, racing, and the popular first-person-shooter. All of this
is available, but like our name suggests, we like to emphasize the multi-player experience. All of the Xbox 360s are system-linked
together and each one has a unique Xbox Live account. The Virtual Arena is prepared for 16-player matches or tournaments with the
most popular titles like Call of Duty 4, Halo 3, and Gears of War! Be prepared! To accomodate the HUGE
amount of new releases this fall and holiday season, the Virtual Arena is going to change once again. So far, we've been
able to rearrange things without being closed. We've already added a Nintendo Wii on a GIANT LCD screen, two PS3s on 28"
1080p FULL HD screens, and four of our Xbox 360s are also on 28" screens. More are on the way! If we have to close for
a few days for extensive remodeling, we'll let everyone know. For now, it looks like we will not be closing for remodeling.
More information will be available soon!In addition to our regular hours, the Virtual Arena is open ALL
NIGHT every Friday and Saturday night for the lucky gamers that sign up for our special Lock-Ins. The Arena will also open
early - by special arrangement - for birthdays of other private parties. Check out our EVENTS page for more information about Lock-Ins, birthday parties, tournaments, and showcases!
